How do I smoke an e-cigarette?
If you are new to eCigarettes, then congratulation, we are excited for what your about to experience. There is no rule and "properly" way to use eCigarettes but if we can give you a tiny little insight into how they work then it may ease your mind todays these uncommercialized pieces of equipment.
Really ecigarette's follow the same routine as tobacco cigarettes, you hold to your mouth, your inhale, you take back and you blow the excess out. Each different eCigarette offer an alternative in use. Some you can take draws automatically, some you can take with a press of a button, each giving you a different experience. The one thing that eCigarettes can offer above any other type of smoking device is versatility. You have choice in strength, flavour, consistency and even colour & personal satisfaction. The Health issues?
Electronic cigarettes do not contain tobacco so they do not burn in the same way as tobacco cigarettes do. Obviously it is widely know what harm a tobacco cigarette can potentially cause but none of these apply with ecigarettes. They do not produce the ash, carbon monoxide, benzene, or any other dangerous by-products. The vaper created is only water vaper which cannot become passive and cannot cling in smells or stains.
The scientific research carried out so far has given us enough evidence to be confident that eCigarettes are a safe/better alternative to tobacco cigarettes. One study has concluded that the risks are equivalent to those of using nicotine patches. VapeVendor electronic cigarettes are not to be used under the ages of 18 and they should always be kept away from children. They are not recommended for those who are pregnant.
We can say that Propylene Glycol helps the production of glucose with in the body, so we do ask that each user (mainly diabetics) Have an understanding of there insulin levels. Even though it is a safer alternative, we as sellers are not health advisors and cannot offer recommendations on an individuals health.
Are electronic cigarettes subject to the UK smoking ban?
The introduction of the UK smoking ban emitted in the Health Act 2006, Chapter 28 Part 1, Chapter 1, Section 1, Paragraph 2 states: ‘smoking’ refers to smoking tobacco or anything which contains tobacco, or smoking any other substance; and smoking includes being in possession of lit tobacco or anything lit which contains tobacco, or being in possession of any other lit substance in a form in which it could be smoked.
VapeVendor electronic cigarettes are exempt from this Health Act as no tobacco is lit or used.
What is the difference between PG and VG base e liquid?
As mentioned previously there is a lot of differences eCigarettes can offer, one of these being the consistency of eLiquid. Believe it of not a smokers who smokes 20 tobacco cigarettes per day is completely different to the next person who smokes the same amount. Now it may seem odd that a person who only smokes 10 tobacco cigarettes per day can be on our highest strength eLiquid. Why is this? It completely bottles down to the way this person smokes. Now the process of smoking has 3 different stages: 1) The Inhale [how much a person can draw before stopping] 2) The Take Back [The amount a person takes back before having to blow out any excess] 3) The Excess Blow Out [The amount the person blows out, normal due to habits and after reaching the max amount take back]
Because of all these 3 stages it allows a bigger opportunity for each person do have a different style to the next. To be able to offer everyone the pleasure they require the differences in eLiquid gives the users this opportunity.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) e-liquid is thick and a little sweet liquid. VG produces clouds of vapor. VG also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.
Propylene Glycol (PG) e-liquid is a much thinner liquid. PG produces more of a “throat hit” which simulates the feel of a tobacco cigarette. PG is often mixed with VG but with a higher rate, this gives the best of both worlds with the throat hit, but with a nice amount of vapor. PG carries over the flavour, strength and nicotines a lot better so it is often preferred with high rates of eLiquid in every bottles.
There are many different types of mixes in eLiquids, which we call "Ratio" i.e. FeelLife's eLiquid is renowned for its strength and flavour this is why its fast becoming a hot seller. There "Ratio" is 80%PG - 20%VG. Although we are happy that this mix is doing so well for VapeVendor we do tell people to sometimes mix up there in take because with the high consistency of PG your body has to work at a higher rate of circulation to help the functioning of Glucose. Why not mix some of your own Ratio's to add that VG into your life.
What is an electronic cigarette?
E-cigarettes were created to provide tobacco cigarette smokers with the sensations and similarities, but without the dangerous effects which can occur from the burning of tobacco.
A battery in the electronic cigarettes powers an atomizer (or clearomizer, depending on the model of e cigarette) which heats a solution that consists of propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, Nicotine and flavours/extracts to create a 'smoke like' vapour.
Propylene glycol is a well known additive which has been deemed G.R.A.S (generally regarded as safe) by the world health organisation (W.H.O.). It has been used in a number of products for several years ranging from asthmatic nebulizers to the production of smoke in night clubs and for stage shows.
